Paxlovid for  treatment of COVID

PAXLOVID (nirmatrelvir tablets; ritonavir tablets) is indicated for the treatment of mild-to-moderate coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in adults with positive results of direct severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) viral testing, and who are at high risk for progression to severe COVID-19, including hospitalization or death.

Pharmacists can perform an assessment and prescribe Paxlovid, if indicated, if you meet these conditions:

  • you are 18 years of age and older
  • you have a positive test for COVID, using PCR or self-administered rapid antigen test
  • you currently have symptoms of COVID with onset within the past 5 days
  • you are at higher risk of severe outcomes

Consultations with the pharmacist are conducted VIRTUALLY only, either via video or over the phone.

If you have COVID and would like a consultation with the pharmacist, book an appointment using the link below. DO NOT come to the pharmacy.
